Goodness! Where have I been? I have been planning to start my beauty blog for over a year, but the lack of a high quality camera has frequently squelched my motivation. How unfortunate, as I have an absolutely ridiculous number of products (and very valid opinions to go along with them), and my collection is ever-growing.

Who am I? No one important. Just a freelance Makeup Artist with a passion for the craft, an obsession with makeup, and a keen knowledge of skincare. You know--your average, run-of-the-mill Beauty Junkie! You'll have to forgive me if I am occasionally *too* verbose in my posts, but I am also an MA-level English Instructor, and writing is what I do best.

So, to be clear, what has sparked my interest in finally opening my beauty blog after my lengthy procrastination is a lovely website called Influenster, who has sent me a few wonderful VoxBoxes in the past. They have revamped their website, and with the re-launch came multiple reminders that they want to hear from me in a blog/vlog. Since I want to blog anyway, then this is the perfect excuse, no?

Now, off to gather my latest goodies and write a blog or two about the products. I have been a busy little makeup junkie.... I scored Urban Decay's new Vice Palette, the new (and amazing!) Naked Skin foundation, several other UD treats and tools, and numerous lovelies from MAC's Marilyn Monroe Collection along with other MAC must-haves.
